Sifu John Yuen   Sifu John Kin Wa Yuen
The study and teaching of Tai Chi and Chi Kung is the life's work of John Yuen. As a young man living in Hong Kong, John learned Wu style Tai Chi under the strict tutelage of Masters Cheng Tin Hung and Ng Kam Kee.
In 1988, John was awarded the Certificate of Instructor by the Hong Kong Tai Chi Institute in Tai Chi Forms, Push Hands, Self Defence and Weapons. In the same year he was elected president of the Australian Wu Style Federation Inc. Returning to Hong Kong for further study and assessment, John was awarded Instructor certificates for Tai Chi Spear and Nei Kung (12 Ying and 12 Yang) in 1998.
John is a competition judge for the Australian National Wushu & Tai Chi Association (ANWTA), and is a member of the Hong Kong Tai Chi Association.

John's experience in Tai Chi instruction extends to China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Singapore, England and the USA. Over the past couple of years, John has concentrated on coaching his students to medal-winning performances at the annual National competition.

As students progress they will find themselves increasingly involved in helping others develop in the art, and those who progress to a high level of competency in Tai Chi have the option of actively teaching within the club.
