Meditation in motion
The Blackburn Tai Chi Academy teaches Tai Chi Ch'uan (Wu style, long form), a traditional form of Tai Chi. An ancient health and martial art, it includes aspects of meditation, breathing, stretching and relaxation that promote physical, mental and spiritual vitality in people of all ages.   Beginner's class information

The graceful movements of Tai Chi develop and strengthen all parts of the body, improve balance and counteract the effects of stress. Tai Chi is also a unique system of self defence.

This website has been designed to provide information to our existing students and to anyone interested in learning more about Tai Chi.
